I personally would opt for BimmerCode. Bimmercode has an expert mode that allows access to many of the parameters available in FDL coding, not just all the parameters. I have done everything i want to do on the main interface and am curious to what features people have implemented with expert mode. This will not change the displayed colours shown in the I drive screen, but will replace your strips, door bins, map light and footwell light colours and orientations as indicated below. It's kind of annoying and draw attention for nothing. I did the following : With BimmerCode, under Headunit HU_NBT Then expert mode, under 3000 HMI and then choose Settings_Time_Automatic, the options are nicht activ, Nav or online. Most things are in here, bimmercode cannot do expert mode for a lot of the modules, but all the Kombi stuff you can do, just find the stuff under the DKOMBI4 section and then the group ID is the section number in expert mode you will find the item under and then you can search or just find it in the list and change it to the indicate setting. **HKFM codes are F31 (sports wagon).20minutes Nll acNve. Unfortunately I don’t know enough to give an in-depth analysis of this feature. However, this list is limited to the modules you can access, which was only a few on my car. I have an 2019, but I got the ECU updated in December and Bimmercode worked correctly after, even in Expert mode. There are coding forums and posts that can answer all of your questions. BimmerCode Offers Expert mode which could be golden for the more technical coders. I have pretty much the same list and 2 other things that I really want: If you want to leave the car running and lock it, you might want to disable the horn when you lock the car. I accidentally stumbled upon another menu in the main idrive area for 'connectivity' which now had a 'bluetooth' checkbox for audio... that wasn't there previously. Maybe you can consider Bimmercode has an easier learning curve … I have programmed many complicated parameters with Bimmercode as I have with FDL coding and you can make many mistakes with either system you employ. But it looks to be a way to adjust the core values on each setting. BimmerCode comes with expert-mode which provides a lot more options for people who are experts in coding. Expert mode provides a more similar experience to what you'd get while coding the vehicle through a computer with dealership / engineering level software. ** General Locking/Window Features & Convenience Features Opening/Closing via Comfort Access not included because it’s already enabled by default. What's up everyone! I have coded mine with Bimmercode beta in expert mode to replace the Bronze and White and also the Green and White with Red and Blue. Bimmercode Expert Mode.
